Home Sweet Home

The Skyline I remember

Came back home today to where I grew up. East (also known as Spanish) Harlem. It's always funny coming back because so much has changed. The longer you stay out the city the more you like the slower pace of living anywhere other than New York. But My GOD!!! There are so many new buildings. You really wouldn't know we were in a recession by living here. Other than the fact that probally like in the late 80s and earily 90s nobody is working. Or if they it is temp jobs.
In reality, I was never a big fan of the city. Always liked open spaces and small houses. If my wife had her way we would be up here more often. Too bad our jobs and her don't agree. But honestly I think I was always meant to live outside the city. "A car alarm goes off just as I say that lol". Plus now that I am about to be a dad, I like the idea of my kid growing up in a more open environment. Like the places I use to spend my winters and summers. Not that those places have much space anymore, but still, its more open than the city. Anyhow.... It's nice to come back every so often. Probally take some pics and post so look out.
